What is it? In their own words:

Lavender Rights Project elevates the power, autonomy and leadership of the black intersex and gender diverse community through social change advocacy, comprehensive care and legal services to black and indigenous LGBTQ+ communities, with a particular emphasis on supporting black trans women and femmes. Our three areas of impact (gender based violence prevention, housing and economic justice) provide stability, joy and safety for black gender diverse in Washington State and across the USA.

Scent: I made a poll asking everyone what they thought this candle should smell like, and it was almost unanimously shit. I didn't think anyone would actually burn their candles, so I chose a pleasant fragrance with strength and courage. Cypress and absynth. 

Wax: 100% natural soy wax

Fragrance oil: phthalate and paraben free

Wick: cotton, no zinc core

Burn time: 70 hours
